Nick Carter Disses Britney Spears

On February 21st, Nick Carter did an interview with Philadelphia radio station Q102 at the start of his tour. He talked about how the Backstreet Boys are looking to make a new sound with their new album. He says that the media misinterpreted the reasons why the Backstreet Boys filed a lawsuit, saying it was definitely not about Jive promoting Nick over the group. He says it’s being settled. He mentioned the other guys, confirming that Brian Littrell is still married, AJ McLean is still single, and that Kevin Richardson still loves trees. Logan asked him which artists he would do. When asked about Britney Spears, Nick said, “Nah, not after what I’ve been hearing about her in the papers.” He also says he wouldn’t want to do Britney nor Anna Kournikova, saying he doesn’t go for that fake type. Audio has since been removed.
