In a few days, Nick Carter will begin taping another movie called ‘Blood On A Happy Face,’ directed and written by Rick Thompson. Filming starts August 1 in Manhattan and then in Brooklyn. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the plot is a “quick-paced action-drama in the vein of ‘Reservoir Dogs.’ It centers on an undercover agent (Isaiah Washington) who gets caught up in the underbelly of Brooklyn. His world is turned upside down when the woman he loves double-crosses him as part of an elaborate scheme to steal a large sum of money. It’s then up to him to save his own life. Carter plays the role of Fazio, the catalyst for the crooked scheme, while [Keith] David plays a detective with a gambling problem who winds up working for a Russian mobster (Chris Gardner).” The Backstreet Boys star has previously been featured in ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘The Hollow’.
