Nick Carter Has Left The Backstreet Boys?

Also in this week’s popbitch newsletter is their proclamation that Nick Carter has left the Backstreet Boys. They cite Carter not splitting with The Firm, releasing a solo album, and that he’s not involved at all in the next Backstreet album. Popbitch says, “This may be a good move by Nick, as the album sounds like more of the same tired old R&B production which, thanks to the over-rated Rodney Jerkins and Babyface, made last album ‘Black & Blue’ so turgid.”
