Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter will begin recording his new solo album in two weeks, he said in an interview with andPOP.com. He will be going back to his roots and performing more pop music, and hopes to work with Elton John. Carter also weighed in on working with former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. “I’ve got a lot of respect from people like Tommy,” Carter said. “Tommy is probably going to be playing some drums on the record with me.” Read more.

Nick Carter is just dying to leave the Backstreet Boys isn’t here. I don’t blame him after all the Backstreet Boys are a JOKE. I’m surprise that Nick Carter is recording another AWFUL album considering his last one was a flop. So Nick is recording another bubblegum album. I doubt Nick Carter will have success on his album like Justin Timberlake or Christina Aguilera. His time is up. It’s been up.
People don’t bring Justin or JC here. This is about Nick. And whether Nick will beat Justin or not, who knows and who cares. Nick does his thing, and Justin does his. There completely different people, with completely different talents, from completely different backgrounds. You can’t compare them. Anyway, his album sounds like it’ll be pretty good. Hopefully it’ll be better than NON, not that it was bad, but it could’ve been better. He did have some kick ass songs though.
