Nick Carter Says Media Created *NSYNC Rivalry

Not to be outdone, Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter also played DJ on Capital FM in London recently. He too was asked about a rivalry between the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. “There’s not! That rivalry was created by the press and all those people in the media,” Carter insisted. “We’ve known each other since we were young guys. Even now when I’m doing a solo thing and Justin’s doing a solo thing we talk with each other. Now we’re both getting to do one of our dreams at the same time. There is no rivalry and I’m glad that the two groups are in the music business because we both get a chance to show two different sides to music and hopefully do a good job at it too.” Carter even played Justin Timberlake’s track ‘Like I Love You’ while behind the mic.
