Nick Carter Speaks: Paris Hilton Tried to Destroy Me
Nick Carter spoke with Us Weekly about his former girlfriend Paris Hilton, who showed up at a Hollywood club in July 2004 with bruises on her arms and a fat lip, which were later blamed on the Backstreet Boys singer. “I thought the fact that she had money and was famous meant I wouldn’t have to worry about somebody using me,” he explained. “I thought that. Wrong. I kind of fell head over heels for this girl. And I probably shouldn’t have.” As for claims of abuse, Carter responded, “I would never lay a hand on a woman.” But source close to Hilton claimed otherwise: “This is a lie.
