Nick Carter Wonders About ‘Idol’ Winners’ Prospects

Sean Piccoli of the Sun-Sentinel caught up with the Backstreet Boys, where shared his thoughts on the prospects of ‘’ winners. “I think it’s going to be interesting to see how a lot of these artists pan out [given] the fact that they have gotten success so quickly,” Carter said, adding, “We started at the grass roots, starting from, you know, nothing and building it up slowly and then over the time period, and that’s the old-fashioned way of how an artist goes about it … So I really don’t know how much structure the artists that come from [‘’] are going to have, but it’s going to be interesting … to see if they can handle the stress of what this industry has to offer.”

Not everyone gets stressed by it and DUIs.

That’s not true almost every actor singer entertainer gets stressed out by fame look’, ‘at your beloved Britney ….lol that girl is a mess of stress.

I know it must be hard to live in the spotlight cause every entertainer complains about it, but the perks they get in that life style really doesn’t make me feel too sorry for them. The ppl in American Idol know what they are getting themselves into and they are choosing it anyway, so no whinning pls. So far only Kelly has achieved any kind of real fame from AI and so far she seems ok but lets see what happens down the road. She may be able to handle the crap cause she at least started in the buisness as an adult. She’s already had life experiences that may help her cope with the stress.

Well it seems obvious that every artist gets stressed out by the entertainment industry, some just handle it better and more gracefully than others. I can understand the stress, but I think their lifestyle makes up for the flaws that come with being famous. So far I don’t think anybody but Kelly has led a very successful career out of AI. The others seem to have earned a little bit of recognition, but not so much that they now have to deal with stalkers, paparazzi, etc.

There is a whole lot of stress in the industry. Just look at touring alone. I know that Backstreet are going to be touring from now until at least December in different countries. They have a two hour show at night, sleep on their tour bus as they travel to another city, wake up and do interviews, do a soundtrack (where they now talk to fans and answer questions), then do a concert again. It’s not physically easy. And like what was mentioned before, the paparazzi attack you. They will find something wrong with you and they will make it headline news.

Ok, don’t even start with me after the week I’ve had….’, ‘I can sit here and go on and on and on about what your precious Brit has done in the stress of it all, so don’t even start!!

Backstreet Boys are huge, so YES he does know the stress…’, ‘He has gone through it since 1996 when they first broke out over seas, not to mention the 3 years of them trying to get started. Kelly goes through a lot but she didn’t have to work from the ground up like most people, she won a contest. I’m sure it was stressful but it didn’t last 3 years. I do like her though, the best of all the AI winners.

actors have it much eaiser, they get free room and board for months while filming and’, ‘all they have to do is regurgitate some lines. Singers really do work thier butts off. I love the fact that Brian is taking his wife and son with him on the road. I just hope AJ can handle the madness this go round.
