Nick & Howie Were For Bush While AJ & Kevin Were For Gore

When the Backstreet Boys were promoting Black & Blue, they did an interview at Virgin Megastore. The interviewer asked them about the Smash Hits party, the Black & Blue tour, Westlife versus the Spice Girls, and more. More importantly, he asked them who they voted for in the 2000 U.S. Presidential election, seeing as how they’re from Florida and Florida was the controversial state as far as the voting was concerned. Brian got out of answering the question. Nick and Howie said they would have voted for Republican George W. Bush. Kevin and AJ were enthusiastic about saying they were for Democrat Al Gore.
