Nick Lachey Addresses Marriage Trouble Gossip

Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts caught up with 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey on the set of ‘I’m With Her,’ where he’s filming a guest spot, to get his response on a report in Us Weekly that claimed his marriage to Jessica Simpson is falling apart due to her success. “Look they are in the business of selling magazines and I’m in the business of being married,” Lachey said. “That’s what I put as my priority. You can’t read too much into what people say. Even with interviews you do, magazines tend to twist it in a way that makes their story more enticing. They put a headline out there that says maybe one small piece of the story, but it’s how they sell magazines. I think that as a celebrity you can’t start to let that stuff affect your life and dictate the way you live your life. You just have to let it roll right off, man.”
