Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “I guess you heard about that. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are calling it quits after three years of reality show — ah, marriage, marriage. … It seemed like just yesterday Ashlee was lip syncing at the wedding. Doesn’t it? … They broke up on Thanksgiving. Yeah, well, Jessica said she was okay with that. She didn’t really feel like coloring eggs and hiding them in the yard anyway. … Unbelievable. Do you realize the most stable couple in Hollywood now is Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston.”
