Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson ‘Furious’ Over Sex Tape Scandal

An friend of Jessica Simpson’s tells Globe magazine the singer and her husband Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees were “furious” when they learned of a website claiming to have a videotape of the ‘Newlyweds’ stars having sex. “She told me it’s definitely not them and it must be look-alikes,” the friend explained. “When she heard about the tape, she told me she was so embarrassed that she broke down and cried. Jessica called her close family members, including her father – who is a minister – to warn them about the website’s claims before they heard about it on the news. She told me it was the toughest thing she’s every had to do.” The couple’s rep told the tabloid, “It is not them, and lawyers are getting involved. Any such website is entirely bogus.”
