98 Degrees star Nick Lachey posted a journal entry on his official site a few weeks back. He said, “Hey everybody, I really appreciate the requests you all have been doing for ‘Shut Up’ at radio and at MTV. The support is awesome. But guess what – I need more. The more requests we get at radio, the better. I know that some of the stations haven’t been playing the song yet, but stay after them. Don’t get discouraged if they don’t play it right away. They will. The video is almost getting enough votes to make TRL, we just need a few more. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments about the video and I hope you all like it as well.
