MTV News reports that as part of his development deal with ABC, Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees has been cast in the pilot for a sitcom called ‘Hot Mamma’, according to a spokesperson for the network. The show will star ‘Cocktail’ and ‘Showgirls’ actress Gina Gershon as a hip wedding planner and single mom raising a conservative daughter. Lachey will play a struggling actor named Cooper who runs errands for the women in exchange for free rent. Read more.
