Nick Lachey Wants To Be Mayor Of Cincinnati

Globe magazine reports 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey is contemplating a bid for the job of Mayor of Cincinnati, where he grew up as a child after moving from his Harlan, Kentucky birthplace. “I see my hometown going through a bunch of sh**,” Lachey said. “It’s a town that’s asleep and nobody cares – they just want to get by.” Lachey’s hopes may be dashed by his wife’s reluctance to move to the Ohio city from their home in Los Angeles. Nick believes the town is “starting to get a little bit of a bad rap” and he truly believes he can “make a difference” by making a mayoral bid after his music career is over.
