Hits magazine reports the Backstreet Boys have parted company with their longtime reps, The Firm. Howard Kaufman is now the frontrunner to sign the band. Meanwhile, Nick Carter will remain with the Firm as a solo artist, and his debut solo album on Jive is scheduled to be released in August, likely before the release of the next Backstreet Boys album.
