Nicole Richie Inspired By Britney Spears

In a wide-ranging interview with OK! magazine, Nicole Richie was asked about how her debut album, which she said “should be out next year,” and who she looks to as musical role models. “I take inspiration from a bunch of different artists, but I really like Britney Spears as a performer,” Richie said. “When you think of pop star you think of her, and she took something that she was really good at and went with it, which I really admire. She puts on a whole show, which is what I would love to do, and whenever she’s on tour, I go and see her concerts like three or four times.” Richie said the album will be “a mix of pop and funk.”
