Ramiro Burr of the San Antonio Express-News chatted with Nikka Costa who says opening for Britney Spears on her ‘Dream Within A Dream’ tour is helping expose her music to new audiences, though some of them might get scared in the process. “Since it’s kids and teen-agers, it’s like their big night out and they come early, and we’re playing to full houses,” she said. “I think we scare a lot of them. We are not a pop band to say the least. They’re going there to see dancing and costume changes, and we come out and actually play everything and sing.”
