After her performance of the Canadian national anthem at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and her number one single ‘I Believe’, Nikki Yanofsky is on her way to becoming a household name in her native Canada. Now, the 16-year-old singer is looking to take the US and the rest of the world by storm with her debut album ‘Nikki’, out May 4th. In an electronic press kit, Nikki discusses everything from how she spends her spare time, her passion for poetry and songwriting, and her hope to inspire others to follow their dreams. “Music has always been a huge part of my life,” Nikki says in the video. “I’ve always been singing ever since I could talk at 2. I’ve always said I want to be a singer when I grew up.” Watch the EPK via YouTube below the cut.
