Time Off magazine caught up with Nina Nastasia to talk about her latest album ‘On Leaving’, which recorded like the others, live in the studio. “I love going into that studio because we’ve kind of become friends with everyone there,” the singer-songwriter said of engineer Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studio. “I’m always really happy with the way it sounds afterwards. This record was kind of funny because we went into the studio and we recorded an enormous amount of songs – maybe 30 songs in two days. I had all these old songs that I wanted to record so we just recorded a ton of them.” The full story at TimeOff.com.au has since been removed.
