The New York Daily News spoke with Jessica Simpson’s spokesman Rob Shuter and Madonna’s rep Liz Rosenberg about the buzz Simpson’s new track ‘A Public Affair’ sounding suspiciously like Madge’s ‘Holiday’. “To have your work be compared to one of Madonna’s greatest songs is very flattering,” Shuter remarked. “No doubt a loving tribute/homage/shout-out from Jessica to Madonna,” Rosenberg added.
