The National Enquirer reports that under a new rule beginning next season on ‘American Idol’, nobody under 18-years-old will be allowed to compete on the hit program. “It’s just too mch trouble – and too expensive – to fly in parents and chaperones for underaged contestants.” This season’s underaged contestants included Diana DeGarmo (16), Jasmine Trias (17), John Stevens (16), and Leah LaBelle (17).
