Not A Single Dud On ‘Stripped’ Besides ‘Dirrty’
Brad Cawn of CDNow.com gave a very positive review of Christina Aguilera’s album ‘Stripped’, minus the album’s first single ‘Dirrty’ that is. Cawn says aside from the Redman collaboration, “There’s not a single dud among the other 15 tracks, and the number of highlights is mind-boggling. Torch songs, guitar-tinged mid-tempo numbers — the work on Aguilera’s second album is impeccable, from the songs to the production to her rich, multi-timbral voice. This album is to the former teenybopper what Daydream was to Mariah Carey: A collection of sure-to-be hits that’s also a perennially strong, occasionally magical pop album.”
