David Hinckley of The New York Daily News wrote about how he’s suddenly feeling admiration for Britney Spears. “I was one of those old-school guys who figured Brit became rich and famous because she was packaged as something that all 11-year-old girls wanted to be, and then remained rich and famous long past her expiration date because she started looking like she was about to fall out of her clothes,” Hinckley writes. “Boy, did I underestimate her, right up to the moment she used a text message to tell Kevin Federline she was divorcing him.”
