Joyce Wong, 19, a Branch fan said, “I’m tired of the same music videos. These girls are real.” As for allegations that the trio themselves are no more than shrewd packaging attempts by the labels to look, ironically, ‘less’ manufactured, Mishal Varma, 37, vice president of programming at MTV Networks Asia, commented, “How manufactured can you get when you’re on stage in cargo pants and strumming a guitar?”
