Nude Madonna Portrait Makes Its Premiere In Scotland

BBC reports a nude portrait of Madonna is to receive its world premiere at the MacLaurin Art Gallery in Scotland. Artist Peter Howson’s work is part of his exhibition entitled New Works, and is due to run until June 4th. A source at the gallery revealed, “The figure in the painting is not really recognizable as Madonna. You wouldn’t know it was her unless someone told you.” Read more.
