Rollingstone.com reports Mariah Carey’s handlers complained loudly following a spoof of Mariah’s appearance on TRL for the VH1 My Music Awards. The scene was only aired during the live show causing the comic who took part in it to blast that Mariah’s “people – and there are apparently a lot of them . . . called [VH1 president John] Sykes and were offended by what I had to say, which tells me we were right on target.” VH1 claims they cut the spoof for time constraints. Many will remember the same reason was given for the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog scene with Jennifer Lopez during the VMA’s.
