OK! Magazine Didn’t Land Michael Jackson Interview

The New York Post reports that hasn’t yet agreed to do a $2 million interview for OK! magazine. “He won’t sign until he gets the money and OK! won’t give him the money until he signs,” the source sighed. “We thought it was a done deal, but at the last minute there were problems.” Reps for the mag are denying the claim.

Time Magazine Focuses On 13 Year Olds

August 4, 2005 – Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, “This week’s cover story in Time magazine was all about 13-year-olds. Or as Michael Jackson calls it, the big swimsuit issue.”

I wouldn’t give him the money without a signature either.

  2. Potrzebie says:

I’m not sure even his signature is worthwhile – Michael is not very reliable at all – all a signature does is give you hard evidence for the next lawsuit against him.

2 million $$$ for an interview?

  4. popfan_23 says:

That’s stupid, that’s an easily solved issue

michael is not broke he just bought a palace in whatever that country is he ran away to they had it on t.v. tuesday.

  6. Michelle13105 says:

Then why he is charging 2million for an interview is beyond me. He’s not that great.

  7. Vanity87 says:

He’s Michael Jackson! Of course, he’s gonna get paid that kind of money.

  8. shunny says:

he’s charging that much because the idiot media is willing to pay it.they are in a freaking biddin war over this bs as if we haven’t heard enough about this trial.think about it the way they jocking him he’s just gonna take advantage as most people would.i even heard oprah wanted an interview.

  9. CharlotteNCusa says:

Pay back time!’, ‘Since the Media felt it necessary to rip MJ apart during the trial, he definitely should break them by taking all their millions for an interview. Rumor has it that he is about to announce a world tour to kick off in late winter. Anyone hear this?

  10. Justifine says:

The media is rediculous. $2 million dollars is peanuts when you take into consideration how much those people pay for photos of anybody at any given time or how much money they’ll actually make if they nail that interview. Anyone in here making allegations that Michael Jackson is broke is a complete moron. The man wore a different suit head-to-toe to court every single day designed just for the occasion, the guy could sell his ferris wheel alone and break even. He could do one tour and make all the money back, plus he owns the Beatles catalogue plus the rights to hundreds of thousands of songs so he’s guaranteed millions every year. The media has told that lie far too long, it hasn’t stopped him from travelling the world and buying up properties left and right. And, if both reps are denying claims then it’s probably just another one of the New York Post’s many untrue stories, they are on par with the National Enquirer and are as dishonest as you get.
