Olympic Swimmer Wants To Take Kylie To Dinner

The Mirror reports Olympic swimmer 19-year-old Australian Ian Thorpe – known as the Thorpedo, is wanting to go out with Kylie Minogue. Thorpe, who is in London this week, approached Kylie’s aides and tried to organize an intimate dinner. A source explained, “Kylie was very interested in meeting him after she watched him in the Olympics but she just hasn’t got the time. They have, however, agreed to meet on the next occasion that they have time in their busy schedules. She was quite overwhelmed that a successful sporting hero could be such a big fan. She also thought that as he was from Australia it would be cool to hang out.”
