Over 2,000 Try Out For ‘American Idol 2′ In Detroit

USA Today reports about 2,000 hopefuls braved the cold on Monday in hopes of getting a shot on ‘ 2′. Detroit was chosen to host the first open call because the city had the highest share of viewers of last year’s show, Idol senior producer David Goffin said.
