Over 2,000 Try Out For ‘American Idol 2′ In Detroit

USA Today reports about 2,000 hopefuls braved the cold on Monday in hopes of getting a shot on ‘American Idol 2′. Detroit was chosen to host the first open call because the city had the highest share of viewers of last year’s show, Idol senior producer David Goffin said.
