“It’s tough hearing your voice on the radio, on a chorus, and knowing that people think it’s another artist,” Rexha told Billboard prior to being credited for her contribution. At the request of her fans, Rexha decided to release the short, stripped-down Angelo Krtikos-directed clip with Samuel James on guitar that displays her signature voice.

The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ told ‘Good Morning America’ about the inspiration behind the visual: “I wanted to take it back to when music videos had a huge concept and a huge dance break. The video is kind of like The Haunting, Cheyenne is haunting my mind and she haunts me within the video.” ‘Cheyenne’ is off Derulo’s fourth studio album ‘Everything Is 4’, out now on Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Talking about the theme of the Sophie Muller directed video, Gomez told MTV News, “It’s very jeans and a T-shirt, moments where a woman is deep in thought, or in a moment where she’s in this crazy little rage. Madonna is out with the music video to her latest single ‘Bitch I’m Madonna’, featuring Nicki Minaj, off the veteran pop singer’s thirteenth studio album ‘Rebel Heart’, out now on Interscope Records.
Talking with Entertainment Weekly about the music video, director Jonas Åkerlund explained, “Madonna called me about ‘Ghosttown’. We hadn’t worked for a while because of different circumstances so when I heard all the songs [on Rebel Heart], I was very excited about ‘Ghosttown’. I connected to it creatively. And, yeah, we enjoyed working together. I was supposed to start something else right after and that got pushed and she asked me to do ‘Bitch I’m Madonna’. I saw it being so completely different from ‘Ghosttown’, something a little bit less serious, just fun and crazy.”
