Tired Tatu Cut UK Visit Short

The Sun reports have trimmed down a planned two-week promotional visit in the U.K. to just two days because they were suffering from exhaustion. Record label insiders say the girls are worn out after a non-stop tour of Europe. One said: “The girls are in massive demand. They fly in tomorrow to do Top Of The Pops and CD:UK but cannot stay any longer. They are tired out.”

This week’s HitsDailyDouble.com sales chart is up and leading the pack is Norah Jones selling 114,966 sets of ‘Come Away With Me’. Avril Lavigne leaps up to #2 selling another 106,600 copies of ‘Let Go’ and Jennifer Lopez’s ‘This Is Me… Then’ falling to #5 this week with 71,800 copies sold. Christina Aguilera holds on to #8 selling 57,675 copies of ‘Stripped’ and *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake selling 51,000 sets of ‘Justified’ which tumbles down to #11.

Asked if Simon Cowell – who had an obvious soft spot for this 21-year-old crooner – offer her a helping hand, she admits, “He’ll be involved with my career. He works really closely with Simon Fuller, who is my manager, and [19 Entertainment], the recording company that I’m signed with. So he’s very much involved.”

On this week’s edition of the Lycos’ Top 50 most searched terms, the Bee Gee’s become the most searched for in music debuting at #5, while was the most searched female and solo artist staying at #11. Not far behind, Eminem and Christina Aguilera come in at #13 and #14 respectively. Avril Lavigne and Jennifer Lopez searches fall, they land at #18 and #19. t.A.T.u are still rising climbing climb four spots to #28 and Nelly climbs up to #37. Rounding out the countdown, Good Charlotte re-debut at #41 and Shakira falls to #45.

Ryan Seacrest Talks Idol, Kathy Griffin Exposing

Gary Susman of Entertainment Weekly caught up with host Ryan Seacrest to talk about the show’s second season, but he was also asked about his controversial move at the podium of the American Music Awards, where he ripped open comedian Kathy Griffin’s blouse and showed everyone her bra. The move led Kathy to complain Seacrest ”physically assaulted” her. “That bit was unscripted,” he admitted. “After we did it, she turned to me and said, ‘I think we both came off great,’ and that’s the last time I talked to her.” Read more.
