Natalie Imbruglia Back In Australia To Care For Daniel Johns
The Sunday Telegraph reports Natalie Imbruglia will relocate home to Australia to help care for her ailing boyfriend, Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns. The pair will re-unite in Los Angeles during the next month while Johns is receiving treatment for the reactive arthritis condition he has battled since last December. “The good news is that Daniel’s condition has improved enough in recent weeks to allow him to travel to the US to seek further treatment,” a statement from Johns’ management said.

The final Supreme Court decision is complete and delivered: The verdict for Dream Street Entertainment (DSE) – INNOCENT on all charges!
The judge writes that the mothers of the former 4 Dream Street performers were responsible for their son’s loss of a career with Dream Street. The judge accuses the moms of lying and fabricating the story that their boys were in ANY moral or physical danger. The court claims the boys stopped working to force hardship upon DSE in order to gain (steal) control.
This ruling was made two days ago (August 7th, 2002) by Judge D. Lebedeff.

Dream Street Lawsuit Ruled A Sham
The New York Post reports Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Diane Lebedeff has ruled against the parents and members of Dream Street in their lawsuit charging the producers of boy band Dream Street with scamming the performers out of their money. Lebedeff ruled it was the lawsuit itself that was a sham, and said the accusations in the suit “show all the signs of a creative attempt to avoid contractual obligation.”

Lynne Says Fame & Fortune Hasn’t Blemished Britney
Lynne Spears posted a new message for fans on her daughter Britney Spears’ official website. “Britney’s six month vacation is here! Yay! She loves to be able to wake up when she wants and decide what she chooses to do each day,” Lynne said. “There’s no hair and make-up to sit through. Instead of catering, she has home cooking. Fame and fortune hasn’t blemished Britney. She still enjoys the same simple pleasures with the same family and friends. However, Britney no longer sees the world through rose-colored glasses. She’s had too many glimpses of the vices of humanity, mostly in the press. We wonder what they will come up with next!”

Houston, We’ll Soon Have Lance Bass
Mark Carreau of the Houston Chronicle reports NASA has made provisional arrangements for *NSYNC’s Lance Bass to train at the Johnson Space Center in Houston late this month as part of his preparations for a Russian-sponsored visit to the international space station. “We are prepared to support the (Soyuz) crew when they come here to train, and we will train whoever comes over here as an approved member of that crew,” NASA’s Eileen Hawley, a spokeswoman for the Johnson Space Center said Friday. “That is very likely to include (Bass).”

Fatone Admits He Was A Little Nervous For ‘Rent’ Debut
MTV News talked with *NSYNC star Joey Fatone after he made his debut in ‘Rent’ earlier this week. Fatone commented, “I was a little nervous, obviously, and the adrenaline was rushing. It was very exciting to be doing it. My parents didn’t even tell me they were coming. And I slipped up a little on some lines here and there, but it was all right. Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday, “You probably saw in People magazine last week. Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck — they’re the hottest new couple. According to the tabloids, Ben Affleck told friends that every time he kisses Jennifer, he hears fireworks. Ben, that’s not fireworks. That’s Puff Daddy, he’s shooting at you.”
Jay later joked, “According to New York Post, Madonna is thinking about writing a children’s book. Apparently, this wouldn’t be the first thing she’s written. No, she’s put out a number of children’s books, but not as successful. But she’s got another one coming out. This is the first book she did. This is ‘Snow White Does The Seven Dwarfs.’”

Justin & Britney Argue & Do Dance Off At The Lounge
US Weekly reports Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears ran into each other on August 1st for the first time since their March split, and the meeting ended in an argument and dance-off at the Lounge in Los Angeles. Britney walked into the club only to see her ex *NSYNC boyfriend dancing with girlfriend Jenna Dewan. Britney “watched them like crazy,” says a spy. Britney confronted Timberlake when he got up to get drinks. When Spears asked him if the two could talk, Justin said, “‘If it’s about us getting back together, forget it.” Britney then started complaining about how Timberlake has been “using different women for media attention.” Justin fired back about “‘her cheating, and they got into a huge argument.” When the dust settled, the two went to the dance floor “and started a dance-off.” The drama lasted about 90 minutes until Justin left at 2 a.m… without Britney.
