Vanessa Carlton’s Tour Bus Catches Fire
Vanessa Carlton checked in on her official forum Saturday from the latest stop on her tour with the Goo Goo Dolls. “Everything is amazing. The Goos are such good guys. I just did the Buffalo show. It was pretty rockin’. I’ve been gettin onstage with Johnny and the boys at the end of the night being the badass rockstar that I am. Heehee. Fyi, the bus caught on fire two days ago. Everything kinda smells like ass. I’m also convinced that the reason I’ve been sleeping 14hrs. every night is because I’ve been inhaling engine fumes through my ac vent. Great. Aside from all the drama, the shows are going really smooth. My only qualm is with the lack of toffuti cream cheese. Dude, it’s the ultimate non-dairy product.”

Christina Christian Gets Record Deal
The Gainesville Sun spoke with ousted ‘American Idol’ contestant Christina Christian who laughed off rumors about her being stressed out and show producers hiding her death. “I’m fine. I’m getting better and getting lots of rest,” Christian said. “I wasn’t stressed out. I just had a bad headache and was really weak. I couldn’t even walk by myself.” Fans wanting to hear from her in the future won’t have to wait long, as Christina says she’s already signed with a record company and will have a CD released possibly by January.

Ryan Starr Most Searched For Female ‘American Idol’
While search interest in the guys of ‘American Idol’ has largely matched telephone voting, the same doesn’t seem to be the case for the women. Ryan Starr tops the list of searches for the finalists in the month of July on pay-per search engine Overture.com, though she didn’t get the same support by phone, having already been voted off. Cris Judd Looking To Become Actor After J.Lo Split
US Weekly reports that after his quick divorce from Jennifer Lopez, he’s leaving dancing behind and is “now doing the whole actor thing,” according to a source. Judd has been to a few auditions according to the source, and he’s not upset that J.Lo has already moved on to Ben Affleck. “He’s very happy,” said an insider. Judd was spotted earlier this month with dancer Staci Flood, who has previously dated Enrique Iglesias and appeared in his ‘Bailamos’ video.
