Vanessa Carlton told fans on her official site message board she’s arrived to her parent’s home in Pennsylvania Saturday before departing again on Sunday night. Vanessa said, “I just got back from LA. There’s 8 inches of snow on the ground in PA. I love it!! I’m going back to NYC tomorrow night, but at least I get one night at my parent’s house. I really missed my dog!!! She’s an extremely emotionally sensitive black lab named Maggie. She’s crazy. I don’t know what I’d do without her. FYI to those who wondered if I draw my website…. I do. Drew said, “I had a feeling that this question was going to come up. The answer is ‘We are taking an extended break.’ Music right now is in a different place than it was in 1997 when we entered the scene. We are just taking our time to see how we fit into it. A source revealed afterwards, “It was a great interview and Britney was fantastic. The sketch was absolutely hilarious and they closed the show with the duet.”

Up and coming Pop music artist, “Taryn” scores big by landing a song in the Lion’s Gate Motion Picture, “WISEGIRLS” starring Mariah Carey, Mira Sorvino, and Melora Walters. Music Director, Richie Zito of The Lippman Company in Los Angeles heard the song, immediately fell in love with it and placed it in the film within a couple of days. “Make It Go Away” is said to be the featured song in the movie which just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival with great reviews.
