Mandy Moore updated fans on the her latest video for ‘Cry’. Mandy said, “Well day #1 of the ‘Cry’ video is complete (for me at least). Shane (co-star in ‘A Walk to Remember’) is in the video and from what I saw, he did an awesome job (of course). I shoot my performance stuff tomorrow. Chris Applebaum (director of the ‘Crush’ video) is directing again. It should be great and I am definitely pysched!!! Yeah… I will get back with ya soon!”

Harry Potter’s Chris Columbus Apologizes For Jacko Comment
“Harry Potter” director Chris Columbus apologized for his televised comments about Michael Jackson where he said he would not let his movie’s star Daniel Radcliffe take any telephone calls from Jackson, who has been dogged by child molestation rumors. Said Columbus, “I don’t want Jackson to think I’m slamming him. What I meant by that is you don’t want Daniel to get caught up in the cult of celebrity. Just because you’re in a movie doesn’t mean that all other celebrities are your best friends.”

Britney Spears Audience Still Mostly Kids
Dave Tianen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel was at the Britney Spears concert Tuesday night at the Bradley Center and asked after watching her more eroticized, “If your audience is made up of very young teen and preteen girls, what pressure is there to project a more sexual, adult persona? You wouldn’t think there were many 12-year-old girls leaving the Bradley Center Tuesday complaining, ‘Gee, I wish Britney had given us more cleavage.’” The full review at jsonline.com has since been removed.

Spice Girls Appeal Court Ruling
The Spice Girls, taking their dispute with Italian scooter maker Aprilia to the Court of Appeal, denied that they knew of Geri Halliwell’s imminent departure when they signed an endorsement deal. The girls had sued the company for $316,000 in unpaid fees from the company’s $835,000 sponsorship deal for a 1998 world tour that had turned sour after Geri Halliwell left the band.

Album Sales Rise On Thanksgiving Weekend Momentum
Now 8 and Britney Spears’ latest captured the #2 and #3 spots in this week’s album charts according to Hits Magazine, who shows Spears selling 453,778 copies of ‘Britney’ (up 35%) while ‘Now 8′ crossed 586,000. Other’s charting high were Enrique Iglesias at #9 and Michael Jackson dropping to #12, with Madonna right behind at #13. The Backstreet Boys Chapter 1 got a bump with a 40% jump in sales to #18. Creed topped all by far with nearly 900,000 sales of ‘Weathered.’
