JC Seen Partying At Sunset Room

E! Online’s Ted Casablanca reports *NSYNC’s was spotted partying at the Sunset Room in Los Angeles following the American Music Awards. Ted says JC was “surrounded by many gal-pals and one superbeefy bouncer.” The openly gay writer claimed, “JC proved he’s definitely the cutest boy bander in the bunch–this week, at least.”

Joey Fatone’s Girfriend In Serious Car Accident, Friend Dies

This so far is unconfirmed and based on a message board posting from a friend of Chris Kirkpatrick’s mother, but word is that ’s girlfriend Kelly Baldwin and mother to his baby daughter Brianna was involved in a fatal auto crash today. Kelly is reportedly OK but her friend Bianca, died and her friend Felisha is in the hospital and not doing well. The *NSYNC star is said to be really shaken up and is scared over the incident that apparently was in Los Angeles. Stay tuned…

Britney Spears Security At Unprecedented Levels

Reuters reports security levels at the BBC studios where will be filmed were said to be at unprecedented levels with a spokeswoman revealing, “We wouldn’t comment on security measures but she is a huge star and we will look after her accordingly.” They also spoke with comic Frank Skinner who will interview Spears.

Insiders Tell Mariah Carey To Start Listening To Advisers

Liane Bonin of Entertainment Weekly spoke with industry insiders about what the singer needs to do to recapture her pre-’Glitter’ popularity. A marketing exec at a EMI rival said, “We aren’t idiots in this field. It happens all the time that, once they’re stars, musicians believe they’re right and everyone else is full of sh–. That works if you have good taste, like Madonna. But from what we’ve been seeing, Mariah doesn’t. My first tip for her is, start listening to the overpaid yoyos who give you advice.” Read more.

Britney Spears Goes Shopping Before TOTP Show

Reuters reports shopped around Hyde Park with two beefy bodyguards ahead of her show Friday on Top of the Pops. Britney will sing two versions of her song ‘Overprotected’ in different costumes, and one version of her next single ‘I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman.’ Afterwards, she’ll be interviewed by Jamie Theakston.

Nelly Furtado Talks FHM Photo Flap

talked with the Toronto Sun where the singer addressed the controversy of her digitally altered photo running in the British edition of FHM. Furtado said, “See, with my career so far, there’s a high and then a low right after. I just wanted my fans to know that I didn’t pose for them, didn’t agree to be on the cover, and also that the image wasn’t exactly me. I don’t think people think about those things. I wanted to shed some light on it.”

Lou Pearlman Plans Real Life Archies

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lou Pearlman and Straus Zelnick are teaming up to create are teaming to create real life versions of cartoon bands the Archies and Josie & the Pussycats. Zelnick said, “With the way the world has changed, I think it’s a great time to re-launch the Archies. Pop music has skewed younger in the last year. Music that appealed to an 18-year-old three years ago appeals to a 12-year-old today. So why not play right into that and create branded music that is specifically aimed at kids that are 8-13, that’s for them and based on a brand that they know and love?” Read more.

Aaron Carter Offers Advice About Brother’s Arrest

Michael Musto of the Village Voice spoke with over the phone where he talked about the arrest of his older brother and Backstreet Boy . Aaron said, “Nick did what he did,” answered Aaron, unfazed. “He’s a grown-up. He can do whatever he wants. But if you’re gonna drink, don’t do it in front of anybody, because then it won’t get on the news!” When asked if may have ripped of his ‘Not Too Young, Not Too Old’ with her new ‘I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman’ track, Aaron said he’d thought about that before “because the chorus is kind of similar. She probably got the idea from me.”

Vinnie Favale Brings In More Mariah Clips On Stern

Vinnie Favale again was on with Howard Stern on Thursday morning to play clips of ’s messages on her web site to her ‘lambs’. Vinnie had created a remix featuring Mariah talking over the music of Bruce Springsteen ‘Jerry Maguire’ song then they played the Happy New Year message as they made fun of the fact that Mariah has all these fan books with her own photos in them.

Mandy Moore Attends Special Screening For New Film
