June 25, 2007 – After the NBC deal for a post jail release interview with Paris fell through, an the ABC official tells Reuters Hilton and her family sought to restart talks with ABC by reaching out to Barbara Walters in a series of phone calls to her home late on Thursday night. “Barbara listened and, today, the executive producer of (ABC news magazine) ’20/20′ called (Hilton’s father) Rick Hilton and told him that ABC News was not interested in an interview with Paris,” the executive told Reuters. Larry King Gets Paris Hilton Post Jail Release Interview

June 25, 2007 – Paris will make her post-jail appearance on ‘Larry King Live’ Wednesday night (June 27). “I am thrilled that Larry King has asked me to appear on his program to discuss my experience in jail, what I have learned, how I have grown and anything else he wants to talk about,” Hilton said in a statement. “Larry King is not only a world-renown journalist, but a true American Icon. It will be an honor to do his show.”
