Paula Abdul Attends 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards
‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul attended the Nickelodeon 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the UCLA Pauley Pavilion on Saturday (March 28) in Westwood, California.
Abdul also offered some advice for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant and Olympic gold medal winner Shawn Johnson after a close call with a stalker. “She’s got to stay close to her family,” Paula explained to the Los Angeles Times, having experienced a similar situation with Paula Goodspeed, a former ‘Idol’ auditioner who killed herself in front of Abdul’s home last year. “It’s very unnerving and off putting, I am certain. It’s scary and I’ve been through it. Just keep the faith and stay close to your family and remember security knows best.”
