Paula Abdul Lands Tony Nomination

Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, “Well, the Tony nominations were announced. And nominated for best score — Paula Abdul. Hey, how about that? … And that little weasel ‘Idol’ loser, Corey Clark — little weasel this guy is. What a creepy guy this guy is. He says the whole sex scandal is good for ‘American Idol’ because their website is getting a record number of hits. Which is probably about the only time you ever heard the words ‘Corey Clark’ and ‘hits’ in the same sentence.”
