‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul spoke with ‘The Insider’ about her struggle with an eating disorders, her role as spokesperson for the National Eating Disorders Association, and her thoughts on Lindsay Lohan’s recent confession that she was “making herself sick” and that she was the cause of her recent weight loss. “I’m really proud of Lindsay for taking the first step and admitting it,” Paula tells Ananda Lewis. “I think Lindsay is an amazing talent, who is beautiful. She needs to stay on that path of being healthy.”
Lindsay Lohan’s Sophomore Slump Could Spell Doom For Mottola
The New York Daily News reports that thanks to lousy sales of Lindsay Lohan’s sophomore album ‘A Little More Personal (Raw)’, Tommy Mottola’s Casablanca Records imprint is in trouble with parent company Universal Music. “They’re fed up with him,” a source revealed. “[Universal Music Group boss] Doug Morris gave him two years to put up or shut up, and he hasn’t put up.”
Online Casino Offers Lindsay Lohan Rehab Deal
As many online casinos who are not legally allowed to advertise in the United States have done for publicity, BetUS.com’s latest stunt has them offering Lindsay Lohan “an attractive Costa Rican rehabilitation package” following her admission of drug use and bulimia in the new issue of Vanity Fair. Leslie Sloane Zelnik, the 19-year-old’s rep, wasn’t impressed. “It’s very tacky to take advantage of this situation,” she fumed. “It’s a way to capitalize, and she doesn’t need their help. She has the support of friends and family. We don’t need this. Gimme a break.”
Secret Romance For Lindsay And Joaquin?
Sources in Hollywood tell Star magazine that Joaquin Phoenix, 31, and Lindsay Lohan, 19, are having a secret romance. “I think Joaquin is blowing off steam with Lindsay,” a source tells the tabloid. “This is definitely not going to be a great Hollywood romance.” The source added, “Lindsay is way too young for him.”
Lindsay Lohan Released From Miami Hospital
‘The Insider’ correspondent Marc Malkin reports that Lindsay Loan was released from a Miami hospital after a three-night stay. The 19-year-old suffered a serious asthma attack on Monday night. “She was released this morning and on her way back to New York,” her rep said. Malkin also learned that the home pregnancy test that an assistant was photographed carrying in a shopping bag belonged to someone from Lohan’s camp, but was not for the teen queen.
