Paula Doesn’t Rate Like Simon Getting Free Dinner

Globe magazine reports that while ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell and his pals were able to get his dinner tab at Tavern on the Green comped by management, the trick wasn’t replicated with his fellow judge Paula Abdul. She heard about Simon’s free dinner and tried the same thing with her gal-pals. They ran up a $700 bill but when they tried to sneak out, an angry waitress blocked the door and demanded payment.
