Paulina Rubio’s new Spanish-language album, ‘Pau-Latina’, offers an invigorating blend of dance, techno and pop grooves, which she tells Ramiro Burr of the San Antonio Express News is essential in today’s global market. “I wanted a lot of different rhythms in this album because the music we’re hearing now is what I call the beauty of the multiethnicity that is the world today,” she said. “Also, I think perhaps it reflects my having grown up in different countries. And Latinos today have our own unique roots and culture, and I think we’re more and more from all over the world.”
