People’s Peter Castro Previews Lynne Spears Interview
Peter Castro from People magazine talked with the ‘Today’ show co-host Al Roker about the publication’s interview with Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears, who was promoting her book ‘Through The Storm’. Castro said reports that Britney was upset with her for writing the book were “absolutely not true,” and after being estranged for seven months last year, the pair have reconciled and Britney speaks with her mom four or five times a day. Lynne blamed Britney’s behavior on postpartum depression and being constantly harrassed by the paparazzi. Lynne hit back at the charges that she’s a stage mom by saying she never managed her daughter’s money or their careers, leaving it in the hands of others. Roker revealed that Lynne will be appearing on ‘Today’ to discuss the book next Wednesday. Watch the interview below.
