Pernilla Andersson checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on Wednesday (October 31) with news about her new EP ‘The Big Cover-Up’. She writes, “Hi there! I’m doing some laundry & packing some bags so that I have something to wear in Japan & Taiwan when I get there on Sunday. The last couple of weeks has been quite intense, I’ve been rehearsing with Fredrik (my guitarplayer) and at the same time recorded a mini-album or, If you prefer, a 5 track EP. It’s all cover-songs, and all by rock bands, very exiting work. I’ve put the songs in new costumes which I think has suited them well. Not that there’s anything wrong with the original recordings, but you know, they were already made, so… Anyway, check it out, It will be released 21/11 and you can also buy the EP at my shows, next one in Sweden being the Sam Cooke Tribute at Södra Teatern (Stockholm) 13th of December.” Listen to the Stockholm, Sweden singer songwriter’s covers of The Hives’ ‘Walk Idiot Walk’ and Twisted Sister’s ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ at myspace.com/pernillaandersson.
