The Associated Press spoke with PETA vice president Dan Mathews on the animal rights group’s new controversial advertisement which features Triumph the Insult Comic dog saying ‘Get Neutered, It Didn’t Hurt Clay Aiken’. “If Clay Aiken intends on staying famous, he has to learn to take a joke,” Mathews said Tuesday. He added, “It may rub some people the wrong way, but it’s poking fun with a serious message.”

Um….Clay Aiken has stated that he abused a cat (or so I read) in some way…..that’s why PETA would be poking fun at him.
