Phoney Press Release On Backstreet Boys Disbanding
It appears a prankster has sent out a phoney press release claiming to be from the Backstreet Boys announcing their break-up. The crafty work of fiction writes, “A decision has now been formally taken to disband The Backstreet Boys. Nick Carter has decided to develop his solo career outwith the restrictions placed on him by the group. He initially felt he could work with the group and pursue his solo career but this has now proved to be impossible. Although the decision was taken several months ago, time and continual discussions have delayed the official release of this information. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans all over the world without you we were nothing.”
