Photoshoot Too Sexy For Jessica Simpson’s Mom, But Not For Dad
OK! magazine’s recent photo shoot with Jessica Simpson was to include the singer/actress lying on a bed in her underwear while a male model buttoned his shirt on the bed behind her, but while Jessica’s father Joe had no problem with the pose, her mother Tina was having none of it. “Time out. Hold it,” Tina shouted at the photographer, according to a source. “Nope, this isn’t going to work.” The source added, “Tina dug in her heels and said there was no way she’d allow Jess to appear in the layout, the way it was designed. She said the pose was too risque and made Jessica look cheap. Joe was perplexed.” Joe then reportedly argued with Tina, who fired back at the former Baptist preacher: “Trust me, I’m her mother. This isn’t the image we want.”
