Pier Dominguez Objects To Shelly Kearns Comments
Pier Dominguez has responded to the comments made by Christina Aguilera’s mother Shelly Kearns about his new book. He tells us, “My book, “Christina Aguilera: A Star is Made”, is the ONLY serious, well-researched look at Christina Aguilera’s career. I find it very offensive that Shelly Kearns would choose to speak out against my book, which took two years to research and write, before she has even read it, when there is so much CRAP out there about Christina that is all about making money. I am a serious journalist, this is my second book after a highly praised debut, and I think the only reason Shelly is picking on me is because I’m 20 years old. I trust that other Americans who believe in the first Amendment, and who will actually read my book before judging it, will find it a balanced and exciting view of Christina’s life and career. Shelly was extremely unfair in critiquing my book without having read it. She is doing to me exactly what she accuses “the media” of doing to Christina.”
