Pink’s new single ‘So What’ is aimed at her estranged husband, Carey Hart. CNN’s Denise Quan spoke with the singer about the track. “Honestly, I’m the first to make fun of myself,” she said. “I do make fun of others as well. When you call the joke before anyone else, it kind of takes the steam out of it.”
As for that controversial track ‘Dear Mr. President’, Pink told Quan, “It wasn’t just like, I’m going to just do something political. I’m going to attack Bush. It was a questioning song. It was sung in an innocent way. I actually toured it all over the world and the only place I got booed was Anaheim.” Watch the interview below.
Is there any way I can get this cnn video as a file? I am doing a “documentary” on Pink’s protest song for my AP Lit class, and it would be nice to be able to put some clips from it in my all-together video. All citations are required, so I would be putting this website in my Bibliography. I wouldn’t be using it as my own.
