Pink Hopes To Save Lagging Career
Billboard Magazine’s Album Chart reports that Pink is despertly trying to save her ailing pop career as her third disc, ‘Try This!,’ has failed to catch on. Trouble signs came when, ‘Feel Good Time,’ her theme to ‘Charlie’s Angels II’ failed to reach higher then #60. Pink’s lead single from the disc, ‘Trouble,’ peaked at #67, while the lead single from Britney, debuted at #50 and later went to peak at #35. Pink’s, ‘Try This,’ debuted at #9, and plummeted, not even in the top 100 on Billboard. It went Platinum, selling just under 1,000,000 copies, while rival Britney sold 2,500,000 and Jessica Simpson sold 970,000 copies to date, toppling Pink also. In a bid to save to save the flop, Pink will tour across the states and also release ‘Catch me While I’m Sleeping,’ produced by Linda Perry, who has produced for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
